Wow... that's a crazy experience to have gone through. You don't know the lesson now... but it will come eventually, and in time. Thanks for sharing. :)

No easy answers or suggestions. I've had family members with various health or mental problems and to see them deteriorate is difficult. That fact that it touches you does speak to your humanity. Those that know you know of your human side. I wouldn't say you're a delicate flower but as a pillar to be relied upon as a good friend I know of few others.
